Though marketed as a vegetarian restaurant many of the dishes were suitable for vegan as well as being gluten free. The whole menu has a focus on vegetables and is ever evolving as they work with whatever produce is brought in that day. All water used in the restaurant is filtrated through a Pure Ionic filter supplied in partnership with world wide water, this takes out all the nasties.
We ordered juices to accompany our meals however there was a varied drinks menu with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
The food we ordered was beautifully presented and extremely flavorful. The courgetti starter was a definite must try only beaten for top spot favorite dish by the incredibly delicious Rice Cake and Kimchi which came with a sumptuous sweet yet tangy chilli sauce and beautifully prepared kale. We also enjoyed the signature dish, “The Market Plate” which came with an array of vegetables that were available that day, all well prepared and presented with a mesh of homely familiar flavors. Desserts were delightful though there was less of a choice for vegans the apple crumble being the only suitable option. Never the less the apple crumble was piping hot, sweet and sharp (everything you want a good crumble to be) and the carrot cake was divine.
